RIB Sea Safaris and RIB Boat Trips from Rock, Near Padstow

Launching from the Rock pontoon, or we can pick you up in Padstow, we explore the incredibly beautiful coastline and islands of North Cornwall normally completely inaccessible to the visitor. You will spend 2 hours out to sea exploring the rugged coastline and the amazing marine wildlife this area has to offer. Our boat is a 9m RIB called SeaXplorer – the perfect vessel for a sea safari in Cornwall.

RIBS are often referred to as the 4x4s of the sea, perfect for exploring the Islands, caves and headlands of the North coast. Our RIB boat trips are mostly focused on exploring the coastline and discovering Cornwall’s rich marine wildlife. The cornish coastline is extremely diverse when it comes to marine wildlife so much so that the waters around Polzeath are a designated Voluntary Marine Conservation Area (VMCA) due to the amazing marine wildlife you see on a daily basis.

Your Skippers Matthew and Charlotte are trained Zoologists/Marine Biologists and are keen to promote conservation and will incorporate this into the Cornwall Sea Safaris. Armed with binoculars you can expect (depending on the time of year) to see Basking Sharks, Seals, Dolphins, Porpoises, Puffins, Gannets and many other varieties of seabirds while on one of our RIB sea safaris.

Whilst seeing all of these amazing animals can never be guaranteed, Cornwall’s Coastal waters offer the perfect environment for Dolphins, Seals, Basking Sharks, Ocean Sunfish and more!
