The Port Isaac Tour (Dolphin Grounds)
Again launching from Rock or Padstow we head out East past Pentire where we’ll pass the beautiful undisturbed beaches and coves of Compit, Ephaven and Lundy. We encounter many varieties of sea bird along this stretch, including Peregrine Falcons who also nest here and can on occasion be seen hunting around the cliffs. We can then take the boat right inside the tiny natural fishing port of Port Quin, with its charming fisherman’s cottages, folly castle and ancient fish cellars. On the return journey we often come across pods of dolphins and occasionally porpoises.
The Port Isaac Tour costs £40 per adult and £30 per child under 14. The tours run for approximately 2 hours and lifejackets are provided. We do recommend bringing a warm layer, a waterproof jacket and sun cream. In particularly wet weather we can provide full waterproofs.
