Amazing Dolphin Watching Trips
What better way to explore the awe inspiring coastal scenery and incredible wildlife of North Cornwall than by powerboat? Our boat SeaXplorer is a 9m RIB which seats 12 passengers and is based at Rock on the Camel Estuary just over the river from Padstow. We meet at our office on the Rock pontoon or we can pick you up in Padstow, and then away to sea for a Cornwall boat trip of a lifetime to explore the amazing marine wildlife, including Dolphins!
Cornwall Boat Trips
We run Cornwall boat trips to various locations from Rock/Padstow out towards Newquay or Bude and regularly see wildlife such as Basking Sharks, Dolphins, Porpoises, Seals, Sun Fish and all sorts of sea birds including Puffins. We carry several pairs of binoculars on board so you can see them all up close. As well as the amazing wildlife you can get up close to the rugged coastline and visit areas such as Port Quin and Tintagel.
Your boat is skippered by Matthew Wheadon, a trained Zoologist who holds a Commercially Endorsed Advanced Powerboat Certificate and a local boatman’s licence. Matthew started Cornish Sea Tours in 2008 and has excellent local knowledge of the coastline and the wildlife that live there. Your second skipper is Charlotte Fowler, a marine biologist who is passionate about the marine environment. Charlotte has spent time working with manatees and dolphins in Florida and as a biologist at The National Marine Aquarium.
Boat Trips in Cornwall
Our RIB boat trips in Cornwall run for approximately 2 hours and cost £40 per adult and £30 per child under 14. Life jackets are provided. We do recommend bringing a warm layer, a waterproof jacket and trousers and this summer perhaps some sun cream. In particularly wet weather we can provide full waterproofs.
The Meeting point for these boat trips in Cornwall is the Rock pontoon, which is just a short ferry ride from Padstow in North Cornwall, alternatively we can pick you up in Padstow.
